Engineering & Configuration Support

1. Can the shaft configuration be customized?
Yes. Shaft configuration can be considered according to the mechanical integration requirements of the application. This may include specific shaft dimensions or configurations needed to match the customer’s transmission structure, coupling or other mechanical components. The required dimensions and mechanical interface should be confirmed during the technical evaluation to ensure compatibility with the motor and the overall equipment design.
2. Can a stepper motor be configured with a gearbox or lead screw?
Yes. Gearbox and lead screw configurations can be considered for applications with specific transmission or linear-motion requirements. A gearbox can be used when the application requires a different combination of speed and torque, while a lead screw configuration is suitable for applications requiring direct linear movement and positioning. The appropriate configuration depends on the motor, load, speed and mechanical requirements of the application.
3. Can the motor wiring be customized?
Yes. Different wiring configurations can be considered according to the motor and control-system requirements. This is particularly relevant when the motor needs to be integrated with a specific stepper driver, controller or existing equipment wiring. The required connection configuration should be confirmed before production to ensure compatibility between the motor and the control system.
4. What information should I provide for a customized stepper motor?
For a preliminary evaluation, it is helpful to provide the application, required motor size, holding torque or load, operating speed, installation dimensions and shaft requirements. If applicable, also provide gearbox or lead screw requirements, wiring or connector requirements, and information about the stepper driver or control system. Existing motor specifications, drawings or photos can also help us understand the required configuration more accurately.
